Let’s talk going back to school/work from vacation
Being on vacation is one of the most amazing things we can experience. Some prefer travel, some probably work, some try to be around nature and some do volunteer work with animals or on farms. Anyways this is the time where we roster et. The world where we have to follow deadlines and be overwhelmed with paperwork and do assignments and wake up early to catch a bus.
The important thing to address here is how do you bring yourself back to the previous routine. Now the thoughts that you might have are: I wish I could just have 1 more week to spend on vacation, or maybe you consider to not get back to studies at all, or probably you think maybe you should open a business instead and not care about this daily learning burden, although some still might be excited going back to studies.
That’s alright. We all deal with post-vacation blues. We would;ldn’t write this post if we didn’t have a solution for you.
First of all here’s a video related to this topic that you might wanna watch:
Here, Glamour magazine writer Jennifer Wallace explains perfectly well what it is and how to overcome this challenging time period.
Post-vacation blues, or the feelings of sadness or lethargy after returning from a holiday, are quite common.
But Hey, what are you going to do? We know, we know! You’ll follow these strategies:
1. Gradual Transition Back to Routine:
Boy will that be tough!!!
If possible, give yourself a day or two after returning from vacation before jumping back into work or daily responsibilities. This buffer can help you adjust gradually.

2. Reflect on Positive Memories:

Good old times
Spend time reflecting on the highlights of your trip. Look through photos, share stories with friends or family, or even start a travel journal. Reliving these moments can help you hold onto the joy of your vacation.
3. Plan Your Next Adventure:
Even if it’s far in the future, having something to look forward to can help combat post-vacation blues. Start thinking about your next trip or a fun activity you can do soon.

4. Incorporate Vacation Elements into Daily Life:

Remember when we…
Bring a bit of your vacation into your daily routine. Whether it’s cooking a dish you enjoyed on your trip, playing music that reminds you of your destination, or practicing a new hobby you discovered while away, these small touches can help you stay connected to that positive experience.
5. Stay Active:
Physical activity can boost your mood and help you shake off any lethargy. Whether it’s a workout, a walk, or a yoga session, moving your body can increase your energy levels and improve your outlook.

6. Prioritize Self-Care:

Make sure you’re taking care of your physical and mental well-being. This might mean getting enough sleep, eating well, staying hydrated, and practicing mindfulness or relaxation techniques.
7. Reconnect with Social Life:
Re-engage with friends, family, or colleagues. Social interaction can lift your spirits and help you reintegrate into your usual environment.

8. Set New Goals:

Post-vacation can be a great time to set new personal or professional goals. It gives you something to focus on and can provide a sense of purpose.
9. Give Yourself Time to Adjust:
Understand that it’s normal to feel a bit down after a vacation. Give yourself permission to ease back into your routine without putting too much pressure on yourself.

10. Change Your Perspective:

Instead of focusing on the fact that the vacation is over, try to view your return as a fresh start. It’s an opportunity to implement positive changes, embrace new routines, or approach life with renewed energy.
