Our thoughts lead us to where we are, and self-help books can help us realize this and make changes (or at least thinking about starting).
Often, we don’t even recognize that we’ve created the life we’re currently living through the scenarios in our minds. Self-help books can serve as the lightbulb that helps us reflect on our lives and make positive changes. Many of them are EXTREMELY HELPFUL.
It’s also crucial to consider the author’s background—is their expertise relevant to the subject they’re writing about? Additionally, it’s important to choose a book that addresses the specific area you want to improve: productivity, relationships, self-esteem, etc. The great thing about self-help books is that they’re often easy to read and can be a great starting point on your journey to self-improvement.
